                            Notification of Interest


The Company was informed on 8 August 2007 that, following a transfer of Noble
AIM VCT plc (formerly known as First State Investments AIM VCT plc) from First
State Investment Management (UK) Limited to Noble Fund Managers Limited, Noble
Fund Managers Limited had a notifiable interest of 8,784,888 ordinary shares in
Maelor, being 7.07% of the issued share capital of the Company. The transfer
took place on 4 June 2007.



Noble Fund Managers Limited holds these funds through a number of Venture
Capital Trusts as set out below:
