Cosentino Signature Wines plc, the AIM listed, ultra-premium brand Napa Valley
based wine company is pleased to announce that at the 25th edition of the San
Diego International Wine Competition, one of the oldest and more prestigious of
the internationally recognised wine industry awards, Cosentino wines won a
number of awards including two Golden Sweep awards, which means that those wines
were among the absolute best in the competition which concluded April 20, 2008.



The following wines received major awards at the San Diego International Wine
Competition:


Gold, Sweeps:
2006 THE TEMP
2006 THE ZIN


Gold:
2006 TANNAT
2006 ESTATE Zinfandel


Silver:
2006 THE NOVELIST, Meritage White
2005 Sangiovese, Il Chiaretto


In addition to the above, on April 27, The 23rd Annual Pacific Rim International
Wine Competition announced its results. Cosentino won the following major
awards:



Gold, Best Meritage:

2005 THE POET, Meritage Red (this was the first competition entered for this
wine)



Gold:

2006 THE NOVELIST, Meritage White

2005 SYRAH



Silver:

2004 Napa Valley  Cabernet Sauvignon

2006 Napa Valley Chardonnay

2007 Pinot Grigio

2005 MERLOT, Napa

2006 THE TEMP

2006 TANNAT



In addition to these awards, there were numerous Bronze Medals awarded to other
Cosentino wines in both competitions.
