                         Result of Offer to sell Shares

London Asia Capital PLC, the AIM listed (code LDC.L) Asian focused investment
group, is pleased to announce the result of the offer announced on 3 October
2007 ("the Offer") for shareholders to acquire shares owned by London Asia in
certain of its PLUS listed investee companies.

There was a strong level of interest shown in the Offer, with offers made for a
total of #3.0 million worth of shares, out of the #7.7 million on offer. There
was interest in all six investee companies on offer, which in the case of some
of them will be the first significant trading in their stock since their listing
on PLUS, and should result in increased liquidity in these companies going
forward.

The total amount sold represents less than 7% of London Asia's reported net
assets as at 30 June 2007. Based on the original cost of #1.4 million, the
profit on sale against original cost is approximately #1.5 million. At the
market prices quoted by PLUS on 27 October, the #3.0 million of shares will have
been sold at a discount of #175,000 to current market value, equal to under 6%
of the assets sold, or 0.4% of London Asia's reported net assets as at 30 June
2007.
