Distribution to shareholders and update on proposed liquidation

Following today's Annual General Meeting, JSM Indochina Ltd. (the "Company") (AIM:JSM.L), wishes to advise that the Board is pleased to announce a fifth distribution to shareholders of $0.14 per share. The ex-date for the distribution is 4(th) January 2012, the record date is 6(th) January 2012 and the payment date will be 27(th) January 2012.

Following that distribution, a total of $0.64 per share will have been distributed to shareholders since the April 2010 EGM.

As announced on 13 December 2011, the Directors are working on satisfying the Company's outstanding liabilities and it is their current intention to put forward a proposal to shareholders to appoint a liquidator to the Company in early 2012. At that time a further dividend will be proposed together with an updated net asset value. The $2,000,000 retention which was agreed in connection with the disposal of the Company's Cambodian portfolio expires in mid-March 2012. Further details on the proposed liquidation will be provided to shareholders in due course.
