This is an Interim Management Statement issued by the Company in accordance with the FCA's disclosure and transparency rule 4.3. This statement relates to the period from 1 April 2014 to 14 August 2014.

Unaudited Net Asset Value Per Share

As at 30 June 2014, the unaudited net asset value was 85.8p per Ordinary Share, 1.8p per A Share and 83.7p per B Share compared with audited net asset value of 85.4p per Ordinary Share, 1.8p per A Share and 83.9p per B Share as at 31 March 2014.

David Eades, Iona Environmental VCT Plc's Chairman, said:

The Company continues to make good progress with its investments in Anaerobic Digestion plants. Both Stanley Renewable Energy Ltd and JFS Howla Hay Biogas Ltd are now operational and exporting electricity. JFS Home Farm Biogas Ltd is currently in construction and expected to be operational in September 2014.

During the period the Company sold its investment in Rosewood Energy Limited for GBP795,000 to the plant's operator Biogen (UK) Ltd. The proceeds from the sale were invested into JFS Wray House Biogas Ltd which is scheduled to be operational in March 2015.

Share Capital and Buybacks

No shares have been bought back during the period. As at 14 August 2014, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue was 5,345,499, the number of A Shares in issue was 8,018,246 and the number of B Shares in issue was 835,360.
