                                Issue of Equity

ID Data Group plc, the smart card and card solutions group, announces that,
yesterday, it issued and allotted 6,500,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in
the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 1p per share to the original
vendor of the business of credEcard Group plc in full settlement of any further
amounts which might have become due to the vendor pursuant to the sale and
purchase agreement entered into last year.

Application will be made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading
on AIM and it is anticipated that dealings will commence on 3 March 2008.
