    Delays in the ramp up of this year's production

    Infinity Bio-Energy Ltd. (AIM: IBI.L) announces that it has experienced certain delays in its production ramp up for the current fiscal
year caused principally by delays in the delivery of equipment vital to the Company's crushing production. As a consequence of that,
Infinity announces that profits for the 12 months ended 31 March 2009 will now not meet market expectations.
    In addition to the generally late start to the harvest experienced by the sector, Infinity has been one of the many companies in the
sector which has faced problems of delays in equipment this year, which has contributed to lower overall crushing in Brazil than expected.
Infinity was particularly affected by these delays due to the significant amount of additional crushing capacity the Company was building
during the intercrop period. Additionally, the Company has decided to postpone the start up of the Ibiralcool mill until the next harvest so
as to focus on ramp up of the existing operating mills.
    Whilst year to date production volumes have been behind, the run rate of current production volume is generally consistent with previous
market expectations.
    Commenting on the announcement Sergio Thompson-Flores, Chief Executive Officer of Infinity Bio-Energy said:
    "We are very disappointed that a year of stronger ethanol and sugar prices and a good harvest has been undermined by delays in delivery
of equipment which has resulted in significantly lower crushing than expected this year. We have, however, finalized the modernization of
the mills, which have an aggregate milling capacity of 9.5 million tons per year, including an additional 1 million tons when the Ibiralcool
mill is commissioned for the next harvest. This will allow us to increase our milling significantly for next year without any additional
investment required."
    Infinity will announce its Interim Results for the 6 months to 31 September 2008 in November 2008 at which time it will provide more
detail of its trading outlook.
