Additional Listing

Highland Timber announces that application has been made to AIM for the
admission to trading of 588,613 ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company
("Ordinary Shares"), pursuant to the exercise of options by Oliver Waring, the
Company's Chief Executive. Following this exercise, Mr Waring's beneficial
interest in the Company comprises 3,534,613 Ordinary Shares, representing
approximately 28.6% of the Company's enlarged issued ordinary share capital.

The new Ordinary Shares rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued
Ordinary Shares, and dealings are expected to commence on 1 November 2007. Upon
admission of the new Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 12,360,880 ordinary
shares of 50p each in issue.
