Henderson Private Equity Investment Trust plc (the
`Company')
The Company announces that the unaudited net asset value per
ordinary share (including revenue items since 1 January 2012) at 28
February 2013 is 395.6843p.
The unaudited net asset value per ordinary share (calculated
excluding revenue items since 1 January
2012) at 28 February 2013 is
396.6723p.
Given the significant progress in relation to the execution of
the Company's Realisation Strategy, the Company's Manager,
Henderson Global Investors Limited, has been able to make a
reliable estimate of the total performance fee which, in due
course, is likely to be paid by the Company to the Manager as a
result of the successful delivery of the Realisation Strategy.
The provision of £1.9 million was initially included in the
Company's 31 August 2012 unaudited
net asset value calculation (including current year revenue items).
Following the successful completion of the Third Tender Offer
during December 2012, the Manager has
now received an initial cash performance fee payment of £1.1
million. The total performance fee expense of £1.9 million was
reclassified during January 2013 from
revenue to capital items as part of the 2012 year end audit
process.
As a result the remaining provision included in the Company's
28 February 2013 unaudited net asset
value calculations is £0.8 million.
