The Directors of Hichens, Harrison, the City of London's oldest firm of
Stockbrokers, are pleased to announce that they have appointed Jim Julyan as
C.E.O of their recently established separate Wealth Management Division -
Hichens Investment Management Limited ("HiM").


HiM hopes to grow discretionary assets under management over the next few years,
Hichens currently has circa US$800m under advice which it will target to
transfer across into its new Wealth Management division, in addition to
attracting new funds.


Jim was previously Executive Director, Wealth Management at Gerrard where he was
instrumental in building the business before it was sold to Barclays for over
�200 million. He has held a number of senior posts in the UK Financial Services
sector. Mr Julyan will be responsible for growing the Investment Management side
of the business in the UK and through the global network of Hichens offices, as
part of the overall growth strategy for Hichens Harrison & Co.
