                    CHANGE OF NAME TO COAL OF AFRICA LIMITED



Pursuant to a special resolution of shareholders passed at the Company's Annual
General Meeting held on 28 November 2007, the Company is pleased to announce it
has now received the ASIC Certificate of Registration on Change of Name changing
the Company's name to Coal of Africa Limited.

Effective tomorrow, 4 December 2007, Coal of Africa Limited will trade under the
AIM code: CZA.

The Registered Office continues to be Level 1, The Old Swan Brewery, 173 Mounts
Bay Road, Perth WA 6000.
