Further joint cautionary announcement


Further to the cautionary announcement dated 2 July 1999, shareholders of the
companies are advised that negotiations regarding the possible disposal by
GFSA of its holdings in Vogels are still in progress.  These negotiations, if
successful, could have an effect on the share price of GFSA and Vogels.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in
shares of the companies until a further announcement is made.
