GOLF CLUB HOLDINGS PLC ("GOLF CLUB HOLDINGS" OR
"THE COMPANY")

Following the announcement released by the Company on 30
December 1999, the Board of Golf Club Holdings is pleased to
announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Lambourne Golf Club
Limited ("LGCL") has today completed the disposal of The
Lambourne Golf Club.  Golf Club Holdings will continue to manage
the Lambourne Club at least until the end of 2000.
