The Board of The Food & Drink Group plc announces that Chris Poil will step down
from the Board with effect from 30 August 2007, to pursue opportunities in the
private company sector. Mr Poil has served as Non - Executive Director for the
last 3 years.

The Board would like to thank Mr Poil for his valuable contribution during his
tenure as a Non - Executive Director of The Food & Drink Group plc and wishes
him well in his future endeavors.
