                             Directors' Appointment


Excel, the AIM listed UK charter airline servicing independent tour operators,
is pleased to announce  that Hafthor Hafsteinsson and Magnus Thornsteinsson have
today been appointed as Non-Executive directors of the Company.



The following information is provided in accordance with the AIM Rules:



Hafthor Hafsteinsson (aged 38) is currently a director of Aviaservices Ltd, Air
Atlanta Aero Engineering Ltd (Shannon MRO) and Islandsflug Ltd.  In the last
five years he has been a director of Icelandic Aviation Academy and Air Atlanta
Europe Ltd.



Magnus Thornsteinsson (aged 43) is currently the chairman of Air Atlanta Europe
and a director of Aviaservices Ltd and has not held any other directorships in
the previous five years.

In addition, neither Hafthor Hafsteinsson nor Magnus Thornsteinsson:



1.                   have any unspent convictions in relation to indictable
offences;



2.                   have been declared bankrupt or entered into any individual
voluntary arrangements with their respective creditors;



3.                   have been directors of any company which has been placed in
receivership, liquidation, administration, been subject to a voluntary
arrangement or any composition or arrangement with its creditors generally or
any class of its creditors whilst either one of them was a director of that
company or within the twelve months after he ceased to be a director of that
company;



4.                   have been partners of any partnership at the time of or
within 12 months preceding any compulsory liquidation, administration or
partnership voluntary arrangements of such partnership;



5.                   have been partners of any partnership at the time of or
within 12 months preceding a receivership of any assets of such partnership;



6.                   have had any of their assets subject to any receivership;
or



7.                   have been the subject of any public criticism by statutory
or regulatory authorities or have ever been disqualified by a court from acting
as a director of a company or from acting in the management or conduct of the
affairs of any company.
