                                Issue of shares

European Minerals Corporation announces that it has issued 600,000 common shares
of no par value following the exercise of 600,000 stock options at prices of
Cdn$0.84, Cdn$0.85, Cdn$1.26 and US$0.37 per share.

Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and
it is expected that admission will occur on 8 April 2008. Following the
admission of the above shares, the Company's total issued share capital will be
303,877,981 each with voting rights.
