                                TRADING UPDATE

The Board of EuroTelecom Communications, Inc. (("EuroTelecom" or "the Company
") trading on AIM as ETMA; U.S. trading symbol EUTC) announces that there has
been an increase in sales in the current year and a continued development of
new business opportunities. However, the investment in additional resources is
expected to result in the Company reporting a loss for the current financial
year.

Negotiations over the proposed acquisition of Intelect Network Technologies,
(first announced on 14 November 2000), have not been concluded and will
restart in the New Year.
