                      Equable Properties plc ('the Company')

                          Receipt of Placing Proceeds


Further to the announcement released on 20 April 2007 relating to delay in
payment for part of the proceeds of the Company's recent placing of ordinary
shares ("Placing"), the Company today announces that the necessary permissions
to the transfer of funds have now been obtained in respect of funds totaling
#250,000, which has now been received by the Company. The further #350,000 is
expected shortly and notification will be given as soon as the funds have been
received.
