                                Director Change



The board of eq announces that Stephen Towne, Group Finance Director has stood
down as a director of the Company for personal reasons with immediate effect.



Stephen's responsibilities in the business will be divided between Bob Bond,
Group Chief Executive of the Company and Alison Hoskin who will become Group
Head of Finance.



Alison, a chartered accountant, joined the group in July 2006 and was previously
with Gaz de France and PricewaterhouseCoopers.



We would like to thank Stephen for his contribution to the development of the
group and wish him our sincere best wishes for the future.
