                                 AGM Statement


The Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of eq group plc took place at 11.30 am today,
24 April 2006.

eq is the marketing services group that enables major organisations to make
intelligent marketing decisions.

At the AGM, Chief Executive, Bob Bond , said:

"Since our preliminary announcement on 20 February 2006, our view of trading for
the current year has not changed. As stated previously we have maintained our
programme of investment in people and a number of key clients have changed the
timing of their activities relative to previous years. As a result, we expect
trading to be more biased towards the second half than has historically been the
case."
