ELECTRA KINGSWAY VCT 2 PLC (the "Company")

Publication of the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30 September
2007 and Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Company announces that it has today posted to shareholders copies of the
annual report and accounts of the Company for the financial year ended 30
September 2007, which also contain a Notice of an Annual General Meeting of the
Company (the "Annual General Meeting" or "AGM"), together with a form of proxy
for use in relation to the AGM (the "Accounts").

The Annual General Meeting will be held at 10.30am on 27 February 2008 (or, if
later, immediately following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of
Electra Kingsway Plc, to be held at 10.00am on 27 February 2008 at Paternoster
House, 65 St Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8AB.

The Accounts have been submitted to the UKLA Document Viewing Facility and will
shortly be available for inspection at:
