    Dexion Alpha Strategies Limited: Transaction in own shares 

    Dexion Alpha Strategies Limited (the "Company") announces that on 02 October 2008 it purchased 750,000 of its GBP shares of no par value
at a price per share of 93.5p and 95,000 of its EUR shares of no par value at a price of EUR1.295.

    The GBP shares will be cancelled. The EUR shares will be held as treasury shares. The Company currently holds 8,650,000 GBP shares and
1,655,373 EUR shares in treasury. The total number of GBP shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 77,282,517 the total number of USD
shares in issue is 1,839,008 and the total number of EUR shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 17,620,166.

    All shareholders have equal voting rights based on the number of shares held. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the
Company is 96,741,691 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if
they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules.
