Dexion Alpha Strategies Limited: Transaction in own shares

Dexion Alpha Strategies Limited (the "Company") announces that on 31 July 2007
it purchased 100,000 of its GBP shares of no par value at a price per share of
104.5p.

The GBP shares purchased will be held as treasury shares. Following the above
purchase, the Company holds 750,000 GBP shares and 2,000,000 EUR shares in
treasury.  The total number of GBP shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
is 89,392,343, the total number of USD shares in issue (excluding treasury
shares) is 7,252,548 and the total number of EUR shares in issue (excluding
treasury shares) is 30,333,467.

All shareholders have equal voting rights based on the number of shares held. 
Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 126,978,358 and
this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in,
or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
