Crucial Plan plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Lord
Michael Sandberg, CBE as a non-executive director of the Company with effect
from 25 February 2008. Formerly World Chairman and CEO of HSBC (Hong Kong &
Shanghai Banking Corporation), Lord Sandberg is a member of the House of Lords
and, since retiring from his position with HSBC in 1986, has remained active on
the boards of several companies in Hong Kong, North America and Australia.



Mike Neville, Chief Executive, commented:



"The addition of Lord Sandberg as a non-executive director is indeed a great
honor and privilege and we look forward to his involvement with the Company.
His wealth of business leadership skills, knowledge, contacts and experience
will be hugely valuable to the Company as we move forward and we are delighted
with his appointment."

John Liwosz (non-executive chairman)

Mike Neville (chief executive)

Lord Michael Sandberg, CBE (non-executive director)



The Company will provide the information required to be disclosed under Schedule
2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies for Lord Sandberg regarding his appointment
to the Company's Board in a separate announcement which will follow as soon as
practicable.
