The Board of Capcon Holdings plc (the "Company") announce that the directors of
the Company, together with certain senior managers, have elected to extend the
lock-in on their ordinary shares to 31 May 2003.

The original lock-in, which had expired, originated from the Company's May 2001
flotation on AIM.

The extended lock-in to 31 May 2003 relates to 3,346,000 ordinary shares in the
Company held by directors and the senior managers, representing approximately
44.9% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
