    Grant of Options


    Clipper Ventures today announces that on 21 October 2008 it granted options to the board of Directors to acquire an aggregate of
1,750,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an exercise price of 8.75p. 

    The options have been granted to the following directors:

    William Ward                          400,000
    Sir Robin Knox-Johnston    400,000
    David Stubley                          250,000
    Jeremy Knight                         150,000
    Bob Dench                                550,000

    The options are granted for nil consideration under the Clipper Ventures Share Option Scheme and are exercisable between the third and
tenth anniversary of the grant date. In order to be exercised the Company's growth in earnings per share must be equal to or exceed the RPI
plus 6% during the period commencing no earlier than the current financial year.

    These options represent all the options held by the directors. Jeremy Knight's existing options to acquire 80,000 ordinary shares of 1p
each at an exercise price of 32.5p per share, which had been previously been granted under the Clipper Ventures Share Option Scheme, have
been cancelled.
