CIP Merchant Capital (AIM:CIP), a closed-ended investment company, announces that Goldfinch SA ("Goldfinch"), a company wholly owned in equal proportion by Marco Fumagalli and Carlo Sgarbi, has sold 4,836,527 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") and Carlo Sgarbi has sold an additional 200,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 60 pence per Ordinary Share (together, the "Share Sales") pursuant to the acceptance of the offer made by Corporation Financière Européenne S.A.. Following the Share Sales, Goldfinch, Marco Fumagalli and Carlo Sgarbi hold no Ordinary Shares.
