Dover Project Update

The Company is pleased to announce that the first draft of a Masterplan setting out the proposed development at Western Heights and Great Farthingloe Farm, Dover is expected to be complete by the end of August 2011.

Consultants for the scheme were appointed at the end of April 2011 and are currently carrying out work to provide information for an environmental assessment of the sites.

The Company has been working closely with Dover District Council, The National Trust and English Heritage to develop an exciting regeneration project for Western Heights and Farthingloe. The Company considers that a planning application is to be made to DDC by end of December 2011 with the aim of starting work on site by the middle of next year.

The draft Masterplan includes eco-housing, a park and ride facility, a four-star hotel and conference centre, a care home and regeneration of the heritage sites at the Western Heights and it is hoped the project should create in excess of 800 employment opportunities.
