AVI GLOBAL TRUST PLC (the "Company")

Share Split and Total Voting Rights

On 9 November 2021 the Company published its annual report, setting out its intention to undertake a sub-division (the 'Share Split') of each ordinary share of 10 pence each ('Existing Ordinary Share') into 5 ordinary shares of 2 pence each ('New Ordinary Shares'). At the Company's Annual General Meeting ('AGM') held on 16 December 2021, shareholders approved the Share Split.

The new shares will trade under a new ISIN and a new SEDOL, as follows:

   --    New ISIN: GB00BLH3CY60 
   --    New SEDOL: BLH3CY6 

The Company currently has 116,003,133 Existing Ordinary Shares in issue (14,466,737 of which are held in treasury). On this basis, in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6, the Company advises that, following the completion of the Share Split, as at 17 January 2022 the Company will have 580,015,665 New Ordinary Shares in issue of which 72,333,685 will be held in treasury (assuming that no further shares are issued or bought back by the Company prior to the Share Split).
