                              Exercise of Options

LONDON - 9th May 2007 - BDI Mining Corp. ("the Company") announces that it has
received an application to exercise 75,000 options.


The shares issued pursuant to this exercise form part of a Block Listing with
AIM, a review of which is due at the end of May, and will rank pari passu with
all existing Common shares in the Company.


The total number of Common Shares in issue, following this exercise of warrants
and options, will be 107,534,985.
