                          2004 Annual General Meeting


The Big Food Group plc is pleased to announce that its 2004 Annual General
Meeting was held earlier today and all of the resolutions proposed at the
Meeting were duly passed by the Shareholders.

A copy of the special resolution which was proposed as special business at the
AGM has been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available
