Announcement released on 10 April 2002 at 10:53, under RNS number 2928U.

The Interest Payment Date will fall on 29 April 2002, and not 23 April 2002, as 
previously stated. All other details remain unchanged, and the full amended text 
appears below.

                            NOTICE OF REDEMPTION 

                    Golden Castle Euro-Finance Limited

           (a company incorporated with limited liability in Jersey)


                              U.S. $120,000,000 

          Guaranteed Asset-Backed Floating Rate Notes Due 2004 (the "Notes")


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the holders of the Notes that the Issuer has
determined in accordance with the redemption provisions set out in the Terms and
Conditions of the Notes, that the outstanding Notes will be redeemed in full on
the Interest Payment Date falling 29 April 2002. The date hereof constitutes a
Termination Date pursuant to a Wind Down Notice served by CRC S.p.A. on the
Issuer on the date hereof, and accordingly the Notes may be redeemed at the
option of the Issuer pursuant to Condition 6(b) of the Notes. The Notes will be
redeemed at their principal amount and will be paid in accordance with the
operating procedures of Euroclear and Clearstream.
