Change of accounting reference date

Baronsmead VCT plc (the "Company") announces that it has changed its accounting reference date from 30 September to 30 November.

If the proposed merger of the Company and Baronsmead VCT 2 plc, announced earlier today, does not proceed, the Company will prepare its next Annual Report for the 14 months ended 30 November 2015.

As the Company will no longer be publishing an annual report to 30 September 2015, an unaudited update for the 12 months to 30 September 2015 will be sent to shareholders in due course.
