Amati VCT 2 plc (the "Company") announces that prior to a resolution to cancel 
the listing of the ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company 
(the "Shares") on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority that will be 
put to the Company's shareholders at a general meeting of the Company to be 
held at 2.30 p.m. on 8 November 2011, trading in the Shares has now been 
suspended.
