Emergency Resources Wins London Fire Brigade (LFB) Swift Water and Flood Rescue
                               Training Contract


AssetCo plc ('AssetCo') is pleased to announce the contract to deliver swift 
water and flood rescue training for the London Fire Brigade has been awarded to 
its wholly owned specialist training subsidiary, RIG Systems Limited (RIG).


The second contract of this type that LFB have purchased from RIG, this contract
accommodates initial training for new Fire and Rescue Unit (FRU) personnel and
ongoing maintenance of skills training until 2011. The contract, worth up to
�500,000, will cover the largest corporate swift water training programme to
date in the UK.


RIG, part of AssetCo's newly established Emergency Resources business, was
acquired in March 2008 and is a specialist technical safety and rescue training
consultancy. Already achieving international recognition, RIG's FRU Moving Water
Technician programme is accredited and audited by the International Rescue
Instructors Authority (IRIA).

and flood rescue training programme was recognised internationally in 2006 when
their programme development team was honoured in the Higgins and Langley
Memorial Awards in Swift Water Rescue - the first non-US agency to receive the
prestigious award. This contract is especially significant with the recent
publication of the Fire Commissioner's report on lessons learnt with regard to
flooding in the UK last year. We are proud to play a role within this high
performance capability development programme."
