Ashcourt Rowan plc (AIM: ARP), the UK wealth management group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hugh Roderick Ward to the board of the Company as a Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.

Hugh Ward, 59, has worked in the investment services industry since 1973, holding senior positions with Schroders, Capital House and Invesco, where he was CEO of the Group's UK and offshore business and a member of the Invesco Group Executive Board

Hugh has experience leading significant corporate restructuring and development activities and currently acts as a non-executive / consultancy capacity for a number of companies in the investment, property and technology sectors.
