American Express Company (NYSE: AXP) plans to host a live audio webcast of its investor conference call at 5:00 pm (ET) on Monday, January 24, 2011 to discuss fourth quarter and full-year 2010 financial results. The company's financial results are scheduled to be announced shortly after the market closes on that day.

The company also plans to host its semi-annual Financial Community Meeting on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. (ET). At the meeting, Ken Chenault, Chairman and CEO, will present an overview of the Company's results and strategies and Doug Buckminster, President of International Consumer Card and Small Business Services, will provide an overview of the results, strategies and key initiatives of the Company's international businesses.

Live audio of both the investor conference call and the Financial Community Meeting will be accessible to the general public athttp://ir.americanexpress.com.
