Re:  Allotment of shares against exercise of Employees Stock Options

We have to inform you that at the Meeting of the Shareholders/Investors
Grievance Committee of the Board held on December 6, 2005.



200 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to employees
under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2000,

22,359 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2001

3,600 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2002.

11,300 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2003, and



Consequently, the paid up Share Capital of the Company has increased from
18,42,02,155 shares to 18,42,39,614 shares of Rs.10/- face value, as of date.
