Our production and despatch figures for the month of March 2005, are as follows:

Cement production                               15.76 lakh tonnes
Cement despatches                               15.72 lakh tonnes

Cement despatches in March 2005 are the highest ever achieved by ACC in a single
month. Similarly total cement despatches of 165.59 lakh tonnes during the year
2004-05, is also a new record for ACC as a group. It represents a growth of 7.8
per cent as compared to the previous year.
