Sales Update
Armor Designs Inc., (AIM: ADID, ADIS), the knowledge-based
designer and manufacturer of composite armour products, is pleased
to announce that for the year to date 2011 it has received $822,143
USD in armour purchase orders and has fulfilled $216,795 of these.
The current backlog (signed international and domestic purchase
orders) is $605,348 USD for which ADI is pursuing traditional bank
financing to enable fulfillment of these orders. ADI will update
the market when these banking facilities are in place.
The purchase orders that are of strategic importance and
material in nature are:
1. ADI has received a total of $366,000 USD purchase orders from
Sniper Inc., Guadalajara, Mexico, for body armour plates for use by
law enforcement agencies in Mexico.
2. ADI has received a total of $351,539 USD purchase orders from
ADI's domestic OEMs for body armour plates for use by international
and domestic law enforcement agencies.
