    BBK Announces Completion of Bond Buyback

    The Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait B.S.C. (BBK) announces that it has completed a buyback of US$26 million of its Subordinated Notes issued
under its U.S.$1,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme.
    BBK has purchased a par value of US$26 million of its Subordinated Step-up Floating Rate Notes due 2017.  The repurchased notes,
representing approximately 9.45% of the outstanding amount of the 2017 notes, will be cancelled. The buyback and cancellation will leave an
outstanding amount of approximately US$249 million of the 2017 notes.
