                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 104,250 of its own A-shares, for NOK
167.00 per share.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 1,347,850 of its own
shares, being 1,238,200 A-shares and 109,650 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 58,347,206.
