concerning the discontinued merger with ForeningsSparbanken

ForeningsSparbanken and SEB have today withdrawn the notification to the 
European Commission concerning the planned merger between the two banks. Through
the decision the merger process between the banks is discontinued (www.seb.net 
for full press-release).

You are invited to join when Jacob Wallenberg, Chairman and Lars H Thunell, 
President and CEO, present the reasons for today's decision in the Boards of 
Directors of the two banks together with Anders Rydin, CFO. There will also be 
time for questions.
