Interim Dividend

The Directors of Direct Line Insurance Group plc today declared an interim dividend in an aggregate amount of GBP500,000,000. The interim dividend will be paid on 6 June 2012 to shareholders on the register on 5 June 2012.

Direct Line Insurance Group plc is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc.
