SUN Sports & Entertainment, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SUNR) announced today that it has postponed the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Event set for May 9th, 2009, with FAME USA (www.fameusaevents.com). The FAME USA promotion was facing financial setbacks due to limited sponsor commitment and was unable to fund the MMA portion of the Show.

Jason Powell, President of FAME USA, stated, "Unfortunately, the number of events included in the Lone Star Weekend had to be scaled down due to the struggling economy which limited our Sponsors ability to fully commit to the funds they originally intended." Powell added, "We have been fortunate enough to have maintained our core group of title sponsors allowing us to provide the physique portions of the event for all the athletes that have worked many months in preparation for this Event. We hope that after this first show SUN will be willing to produce their exciting MMA Events at our future shows."

SUN President Clyde Gentry III stated, "Due to these unforeseen circumstances, we are not going to be able to showcase some of our new fighters and give our MMA fans a taste of the new SUN. We hope FAME USA is able to roll MMA back into their line up of future events and look forward to being available as their exclusive MMA Producer. We know Jason and his team have worked hard to pull this first event off, and we look forward to re-visiting with them about our services after their show."

SUN was hired to produce the event as an Independent Contractor and assumed NO financial liability or risk. SUN is a licensed, bonded Combative Sports Promoter.
