                   Spectris plc Annual General Meeting 2015

At the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of Spectris plc held today, all the
Resolutions contained in the Notice of Meeting and put to the meeting were duly
passed.

Details of the proxy votes received by the Company before the AGM in respect of
each resolution are set out on the Company's website www.spectris.com

A copy of the resolutions passed at the meeting, other than ordinary business,
will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will then be available
