International stocks trading in New York closed mostly lower on Monday.

The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts fell 0.4% to 124.73. The European index decreased 0.6% to 123.08, the Asian index fell 0.3% to 135.67, the Latin American index rose 1.6% to 187.67 and the emerging markets index was flat at 234.25.

Pandora AS and Repsol SA were among the companies with ADRs that traded actively.

ADRs of Pandora fell 3.8% after the Danish jeweler said it expects distribution to return to normal in a few weeks after a fire at its European distribution center in Hamburg, Germany, was extinguished. Pandora said jewelry inventory is intact.

ADRs of Repsol fell 1.4% after the Spanish company said that, together with U.S. renewable company MN8 Energy, it has invested in energy-management platform Smarkia. Repsol acquired 33% of Smarkia, while MN8 Energy has 37% of the startup. The investment comes as Repsol aims to offer digital services such as a storage management system for renewable generation plants to its costumers.
