Idle Media, Inc. (OTCBB:IDLM) announced today the launch of DatPiff Mobile – Hip Hop on the Go, for smartphones. The successful release of DatPiff’s Mobile application for the Apple® iPhone® and iPod touch™, as well as, the Palm Pre™ and Pixi™ has prompted the company to expand its reach. DatPiff.com, the authority in free mixtapes, and a wholly-owned operating company of Idle Media, Inc., plans to launch DatPiff Mobile for both Android™ devices and the Blackberry®.

Mobile apps are quickly becoming the go-to source to reach consumers on a brand new level. It’s estimated that the number of smartphone users will quadruple over the next few years, with some 5 billion apps being downloaded in the US alone during the same time period. With DatPiff Mobile, Idle Media is positioning itself for the “Mobile App gold rush.”

DatPiff Mobile application is free and offers DatPiff's MASSIVE collection of mixtapes, videos and aggregated news all to the palm of your hand. DatPiff Mobile also features streaming, view and search capabilities, comment, rate and favorite on the go!

DatPiff Mobile for Android devices is currently in final development and will support most major Android devices including: the T-Mobile® G1™, myTouch 3G™ and myTouch 3G Slide™; Verizon’s DROID by Motorola, Verizon's DROID Incredible and DROID Eris by HTC; Google® Nexus One™, and Sprint's latest blockbuster the HTC Evo™ 4G and Sprint's HTC Hero™ with Google™.

DatPiff Mobile for Blackberry is also in final stages and will support Blackberry 4.6+ devices such as the Bold™ and Tour™. Idle Media plans to launch both DatPiff Mobile apps in the Summer 2010.

DatPiff’s development team is also working on a mobile app for Windows® Phone 7.
