Hollywood Studios International (PINKSHEETS: HYWS) -- Hailed as the "breakout hit" of this year's Sundance Film Festival, "The Kids Are All Right," produced in association with Artist International, will have its Los Angeles premiere as it kicks off the Los Angeles Film Festival on Thursday, June 17. The film, which was picked up by Focus Features for distribution rights in the U.S., U.K., South Africa and Germany after a frenzied bidding war followed its Sundance screening, was executive produced by Steven Saxton, CEO of Hollywood Studios International, the parent company of Artist International. Joel Newton, AI's Managing Director, was on the project as a Co-Producer.

Directed by Lisa Cholodenko ("Laurel Canyon," "High Art"), the comedy has received glowing reviews from everyone from the Hollywood Reporter, who labeled it "brilliant" and Cholodenko's "best yet," to the New York Times who called the picture "a generous, nearly note-perfect portrait of a modern family." Salon.com exclaimed: "It's so real, so sad, so honest and so truly, heartbreakingly funny."

Starring four-time Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore ("A Single Man," "Magnolia"), three-time Academy Award nominee Annette Bening ("American Beauty," "Being Julia"), Mia Wasikowska ("Alice in Wonderland"), Josh Hutcherson (starring in the upcoming "Red Dawn") and Mark Ruffalo ("Shutter Island," "Date Night," "Zodiac") the film centers around a lesbian couple and their children who shake things up by bringing their biological father into their life.

"The Kids Are All Right" will open domestically in select theatres on July 9.
