Western Pacific Trust Company Announces Private Placement of Units

Western Pacific Trust Company (the "Company" or "Western Pacific") announces a
private placement (the "Offering") of up to 2,750,000 Units of the Company
(each, a "Unit") at a price of $0.10 per Unit for gross proceeds of up to
$275,000. Each Unit is comprised of one common share (each, a "Share") in the
capital of Western Pacific and one non transferable common share purchase
warrant (each, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant shall entitle the holder thereof to
acquire one Share (each, a "Warrant Share") at a price of $0.15 per Warrant
Share until 5:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on the date of expiration of the Warrant,
which is twelve (12) months following the Closing Date.


The Closing is subject to the placement of Units equivalent to a minimum
aggregate amount of $200,000, or such other amount as may be determined by the
Company in its sole discretion.


The Company intends to use the proceeds of the Offering to fund for general
working capital purposes, and acceleration of its business and marketing plans. 


All of the securities to be issued by the Company in connection with this
Offering will be subject to a hold period, which will expire four months and a
day after the Closing Date. 


The Closing of the Offering is subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
